I had a fantastic stay in Lisbon at this hotel nestled in the charming Alfama district. The beautifully designed rooms and exquisite dining experience truly made my trip memorable. I couldn’t help but appreciate the hotel's atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff. While the breakfast was wonderful, the limited variety could be improved. Overall, the place offered great value for money and I can't wait to visit again!

6.6/10

My experience at the boutique hotel was quite mixed. The location in Alfama was charming, and the staff made us feel welcome. However, the room did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price, and there were some misses in service that dampened the experience. Overall, while there were definitely highlights, I felt it fell short of the indulgent experience I was hoping for.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious with high ceilings, but it faced the street rather than the river view we requested, which was disappointing. It was clean but lacked character, feeling rather bland.
Service

While some staff members were pleasant, the overall service felt impersonal, especially during our special occasion, which left us wishing for a more thoughtful approach.

Dining

We had breakfast at the hotel, which was quite good but also expensive at 50 euros for two. It felt like a steep price for what we received.
Facilities

The hotel offered various amenities, but they seemed to focus more on marketing special offers rather than enhancing the guest experience, which felt a bit cheap.

My stay at Santiago de Alfama was delightful, as it offered a perfect blend of charm and comfort in the heart of Lisbon's historic Alfama district. The rooms provided stunning views and were elegantly decorated, although the price reflected this boutique experience. The restaurant, Audrey's, served exquisite meals that complemented my overall experience. However, I had concerns about the safety of using my card for additional expenses due to a recent issue.

The rooms were beautifully designed, and I loved the modern touches combined with historical charm. The breakfast was superb, and the staff's attentiveness truly made me feel at home. On the downside, the walking through the hilly area can be a bit taxing, and my initial room was not as pleasant as expected, but it was promptly addressed.
